Meg Vanderbilt brings 30 years of experience as a horsewoman. Her training methods are solution focused with an emphasis on natural horsemanship methods. She brings decades of instructing, training and managing to offer the horses and animals the very best care. Meg also has a degree in Chemistry and Biology which she has used with her team to develop Cowboy Logic Educational Programs. She started her own art/mural business in 2004 and has continued to develop her business and leadership skills through the Ranch. “I know that God has taught me many things through my past experiences and that He intends for me to use to them to help other’s find a relationship with Him.”
Meg is an experienced riding coach and equine professional for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as well as Equine Assisted Learning. She is also a certified Christian Focused Equine Professional and brings a spiritual approach to sessions. She has founded the Herdmanship University, an online training program for equine assisted professionals.
In 2024, Meg also completed her training to become a Licensed Professional Mace Practitioner. This innovative form of non-disclosure therapy has made a huge impact in her life as well in the lives of others. Meg is the 6th practitioner in the USA and number one in N.C.!
Jane Weaver, Development Director
Jane has been in the nonprofit world for over 25 years and has been a special events director, executive director, regional director and now development director at Bit of Hope. She continues to volunteer at the ranch assisting with the therapeutic riding program and is now learning to ride herself and is preparing for the Horse Show scheduled for next spring.
Jane is an avid swimmer since a young child and is most at home in the pool.
Linda Paquette, Communication Director

Linda brings her passion in helping others to her job as Client Communication Specialist. She has a Master of Science in Education from UNC Chapel Hill. Teaching has been her profession for the last 15 years. She has also worked as an office manager with experience in scheduling, insurance verification and billing and customer service. Linda enjoys camping with her family and her golden retriever named Belle and her Maine Coon cat named Ollie.
