Come experience an exhilarating trail 5K run around Bit of Hope Ranch’s beautiful 50 acre facility. Trails wind through hard woods, along the water front and then finishes with a down hill slope through the sensory trail. Come run with friends or family and make it a great day!

RACE DAY DETAILS
Certified 5K Trail Run on a 50 acre horse ranch in southern Gaston County, NC. Plus a 2K Walk and Half Pint Run (ages 7 and under).
Saturday 10/12/24
8:30 a.m. for Half Pint Run
9:00 a.m. start for the 5K Run
Walkers start after Runners leave.
***Walk Up Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. on Race Day.
Shirts are on a first come basis if available.
Cost for 5K Runners is $30 (early registration is $25).
Walkers are $25.
Half Pint Runners are $10.
Packet Pick-up is race day starting at 7:30 a.m.

The first part of the race is in the back woods with challenging terrain changes. Mid trail takes you along the water front with some grass under your feet. There is a 1/4 mile on asphalt to give your ankles a break. The last part slopes down hill to help you shave seconds off of your time.

We honor the ages groups set up by the Gaston Race Series. Walkers are not timed.

Due to the terrain, strollers are not allowed. They can be used in the registration and barn areas only.

Pets are not allowed at this event.
