Our vision is to empower people to take control of their physical, mental and spiritual wellness and to embrace their God-given identity.
Our mission is to Reach, Rescue and Restore hurting children, families and horses through equine assisted therapies.
Our strategy is to provide Trauma Care & Recovery through multiple pathways that support healing, growth, and restored identity. Through equine-assisted therapy, coaching, experiential trauma work, faith-integrated support, and Adaptive Riding for riders with special needs, Bit of Hope Ranch meets people where they are and helps them move from survival toward stability, strength, and hope. Through whole-person care for the mind, body, and spirit, we create a place where people are seen, supported, and equipped to take meaningful steps forward.

COUNSELING AND COACHING
Our professional team offers Equine Assisted Programs, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Nature based therapy and office sessions for clients seeking help with mental/emotional issues, trauma recovery and care. RANCH RIDERS: ADAPTIVE AND RECREATIONAL
The riding programs serve recreational riders as well as our special needs riders. Saddle clubs offer a group riding experience, while the adults enjoy personalized riding lessons. All lessons are based on the Herdmanship University Horsemanship, CHA and PATH standards.

MIND/BODY INTEGRATION
We offer mind–body healing modalities—including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Mace Energy Method (MEM) and Custom Balance Remedies—that help release stored trauma, rewire limiting patterns, and restore balance in the nervous system for deep emotional and physical relief.

SCHOOLS AND CORPORATE
The Ranch is a Gaston County Field Trip site for STEM based learning. Check out our Cowboy Logic Programs and the Farm Fun Day for your class, group or troop. We also offer corporate coaching using equine assisted programs. These are lessons they never will forget! Waterfront seating and climate controlled meeting areas are available.
